Cholesterol Test

Aviation Medicals is pleased to be able offer all pilots the opportunity to have a cholesterol test. This test takes just a few seconds and uses a finger prick sample of blood.  An immediate result is available.  The test forms no part of the medical (except Class 1 certificate holders at age 40 years) and is for your own information only.  The result cannot adversely affect the outcome of your medical.  The fee for this test is just £14.  If you would like your cholesterol checked, simply ask at the time of your medical.
